Standard View

Standard View

This view provides access to features for performing all project maintenance operations. The left panel displays project information in a Project Tree, with the Project Members, Demographics, and Respondents. While in Standard View, the main menu is supplemented with three additional submenus that provide functionality depending on the selected item in the project tree or in the context-specific panel on the right.

Opening Standard View

Standard View is the default view and comes up automatically when a project is opened if no other views are already open. Standard View can be invoked manually by selecting Open View/Standard from the main menu.

The following functions may be performed in Standard View:

Remove a Project Member member from the project

Select the Project Member you want to delete, then choose Delete/Project Member from the main menu. Note that a Project Member cannot be deleted until any Respondents assigned to it are reassigned to other Project Members.

Also, a different Project Member can be assigned to a Respondent either by dragging the Respondent onto the Project Member or by dragging the Project Member onto the Respondent.

By default, Symphony compares the names of Project Attributes with the built-in properties, custom properties, and bookmarks inside your Word template, and outputs values where it finds matches.
